Every year, I end up buying a new ornament for the tree. I love ornaments. I now have a nice litle eclectic collection of vintage ornaments, silly ones, beautiful ones, DIY beauties that turned out much better than anticipated, plus some boring ones that keep that tree balanced. I’m always ready to buy the next cutest ornament out there, so here is my 12 days of Christmas tree ornaments…in one day.

For all the gamers out there. Plus, it’s made out of wood, so you know it’ll smell nice. Is that weird? To want an ornament to smell nice?

I’m not really sure why there is a craze over old-school campers (we totally had one of those classic ’70s campers when I was growing up…in the ’90s), but you can find them everywhere! So, why not add a little cutie already made up for Christmas on your Christmas tree?

Macrame is back, baby! And, little miniature versions would look so cute on a Christmas tree. Or, if you can’t get a tree this year, on a nice Norfolk Pine or other houseplant. Adorbs.

I flippin’ love penguins. I have some chubby, cute bastards for my own tree, and these guys are absolute cuties.

Trees on trees on trees on the tree. Wood slice ornaments look so cute hanging off a pine branch…reminding the tree what will happen to it if it dries out too early.

These remind me of those little plastic ornaments I made as a kid…except better. Way better.

I mean, it’s a smoked meat sandwich and a pickle. What else is there to say?

I’ve only been to Toronto a few times where I left the airport, and I have to say…their raccoon problem is out of control. Adoorable, yet relatively mean, I don’t trust these masked bandits with opposable thumbs. They cute as fuck, though.

All I hear when I look at this ornament is Ross yelling PIVOT! Over and over again. And, that’s a good enough reason to want it.

For all my Winnipeg homies out there, near and far. Anyone else think of Brittany Murphy in Clueless anytime you hear the word homie?

Wood slice ornaments look so cute and this painted beauty is far nicer than anything I could ever DIY myself.

I’m not sure what needs to be said about this ornament. It’s poutine. For your tree. What more could you ask for?
